Starting each September through the school year, children from age 3 though grade 4 have been joining us every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for a great time of learning about Jesus. There is a time of instruction along with games and singing. Have your child bring a friend too!
Our mission outreach begins here in Glenwood with our AWANA ministry to children from age 3 through 8th grade. Each Wednesday about 50 children hear the Gospel presented in skits and devotionals, as well as in memorization of Scripture. This ministry has been enjoyed by generations of children in our community.
Our AWANA club is also sponsoring an AWANA club in Ghana, Africa through AWANA Clubs International’s Adopt-A-Club program. We also support Operation Christmas Child by filling shoe boxes for children overseas.

AWANA is also about helping the church instruct parents, train volunteers, and help your children and youth realize all that God intends them to be! Our church hosts the Awana club with help from leaders and listeners from 6 area churches. Our clubbers come from other area churches, as well as many who do not have a church home.
