Romans 1:18-25 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. When that day comes, when ever one that has ever lived and refused to believe in Jesus Christ, will have to give an account of their lives w lave absolutely no excuse. Our scripture today tells us that there will be no excuse for anyone that they does not believe in the Jesus Christ. Look at verses 19 and 20 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. We see also in verse 21 that though they knew God they turned their backs on God to live a life unto themselves. Remember in Romans one of the very clear message Paul discusses is that if a person does not know God they are an enemy of God. Sadly the majority of this world wants this world not the eternal God. The God that sent Jesus Christ to this earth to die for those who will give their lives in repentance and confession to the Cross of Calvary. This world is so finite and temporal, but Jesus Christ is eternal! Pastor Tom
