Psalm 62:6-8 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.
King David makes it very clear that he will “not” be moved from his trust and strength in God. We live in such a changing world. Just look around you as we witness changes in the global arena, down to the changes in the United States, and even down into our very lives. Change is inevitable as we live this life some good changes some bad changes all requiring us to adapt to our surroundings. Yet we can stand and “not” be moved just like King David, when we realize that God is our rock and our salvation. No matter what happens to us we can be assured that God is in control and steadfastly holding us in His hands. Spend time with you heavenly Father today thanking Him for His love for us. Talk about love, God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to the Cross of Calvary to die for us. Think about it! Pastor Tom
