Jeremiah 33:2-3

Jeremiah 33:2-3 “Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Do you ever sit back and ponder the idea about prayer. In the last couple of months I have been struck by the awesomeness of prayer not only for me but for anyone who comes before God in prayer. My first twinge is always to say I do not pray enough or I find myself in loss of words or even significance in what I think I should be praying about. I have said many times that we must realize that we are praying to the Creator of the World! That realization alone has brought my prayer life to another whole level of prayer. God who does not need me but loved me, a God who did not need to save me but He sent His Son to die for me, and in all of that we see His only Son Jesus cry out to Him in Mark 14:6 And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”. Jesus called His Father Abba literally translated Daddy. We too can find that intimate relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ found in Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father. We through the Cross of Calvary are adopted into the family of God, sealed for eternity as children of our Daddy. Pastor Tom
